Accommodating EVV requirement
You’ll be able to tell therapyBOSS per referral source to include additional information when notes are viewed in support of the EVV requirement:
EVV information will be appended to treatment notes as its own page, containing the details called for by the Cures Act such as type of service performed, providing clinician, date/time in and out as well as GPS coordinates in and out.
therapyBOSS will present EVV information only when visits are verified. Referral sources would simply enter visits into their EMRs as manually verified knowing that their compliance is ensured.
New method to create referrals for referral sources
Our recent update introduced the new method to create referrals making it available to providers. The same experience is now replicated for referral sources. What they will be seeing when creating and editing referrals will essentially match the appearance on your end.
Dedicated referring physician screen in referrals
Referring physician or, as it is often called, referring provider is necessary along with their NPI when billing insurance. Creating referrals will feature a separate screen, if applicable, to collect the referring provider's information before letting you specify (optionally) other external providers involved.
Patient chart’s view of bills improvements
Clients billing insurance will notice that claims listed in the patient chart’s “Bills” tab will conveniently identify each claim’s clinician:
Plus, there is a new shortcut to help you filter for the desired date of service on the spot as you scroll through patient’s claims:
This will be quicker than applying the date of service filter via the conventional filtering mechanism.
Home Health Change of Care Notice (HHCCN)
HHCCN is provided to Medicare home health patients to notify them of plan of care changes. It’s now included in therapyBOSS and can be completed electronically by clinicians.
Day’s route planning for clinicians 🤩
We’re also updating the clinician app with a powerful tool to help clinicians plan their day’s route. You can learn more about it here.
