New clinician credentials feature
Clinicians are getting a brand-new feature that will let them upload and maintain their credential documents. It’s very simple to use and, crucially for you, they can share them to help relieve your responsibilities in that regard. You can learn more about their side of it here.
Sharing clinician credentials with referral sources
How you define which types of credentials can become available to referral sources won’t change but your settings will now apply automatically to documents uploaded by clinicians. It means that a clinician-created document will be seen by applicable referral sources as long as you have the corresponding type configured as shared.
One other related and noteworthy improvement we made is allowing for “CEUs” and “Other” credentials to be shared.
Enhanced credentials audit
Tracking missing and expiring credentials will also offer a better experience. For one, it’ll be easier to find as a dedicated menu tab under Clinicians:
Further, it’ll present the information with clear visual cues to help you digest it plus offer filters that you can apply to narrow it down based on your needs:
More capable messaging
The recently revamped messaging will get a few updates in boost to its prowess. Specifically, you’ll be able to:
click the patient’s name to access their chart,
resize panels to your preference,
mark conversations you opened as unread,
recognize visually if you changed your view from the default of “Last 30 days“ and
see clinician photos (instead of initial) next to their messages.
Mark as unread will be included for conversations that have a message created in the last 3 days.
Payroll’s performance increased
Our team has done work to optimize the payroll function. You should notice it opening much faster, especially with a larger number of visits to be processed. The same optimizations, by the way, will speed up the screens that list documentation entries such as submitted documentation and patient chart’s documentation screens.
