Reporting streamlined

This release features a major refinement of the reporting experience. Our team has made multiple improvements to enhance usability, including maximizing consistency with the overall user interface, reorganizing certain options, launching reports in the Details view by default, and more.

Reports have also undergone structural changes, with additional relevant fields offered, fields arranged more sensibly and some renamed for clarity.

Analytics add-on for reports

We’ve renamed the Advanced Reporting add-on to Analytics given its deeper capabilities. Besides the name change and expanded business intelligence prowess, Analytics comes with a price reduction and more accommodating pricing tiers.

If you're interested in manipulating reports to better understand and visualize your data, please contact us to discuss how Analytics can serve as your go-to BI tool.

Financial reports overhaul

Reports in the Financial section have been reworked to provide highly useful insights into your bottom line. The Intended Margin report, formerly Service Profitability, now incorporates attributes from bills (for activities already billed). As a result, it replaces redundant Billed Activities and Bill Profitability reports.

Ultimate profitability reporting

A definitive bottom line must consider what you actually collect. The new Realized Profit and Paid Procedures reports look at paid bills and their recorded payments, giving you a precise view of your profitability. The Paid Procedures report, designed for insurance-billing providers, presents information in extended detail per CPT code, taking into account secondary payer payments. Both reports accurately calculate costs, reflecting any overhead you designate for clinicians.

Realized Profit and Paid Procedures reports operate strictly based on bills in Paid status.

New Adjustments report

You’ll see another new report in the Financial section that lets you obtain a comprehensive listing of adjustments applied to bills.

Employee number for clinicians

The clinician compensation screen has been modified to allow you to specify an internal employee number:

Clinician-related exports will include employee numbers, helping facilitate integration with other systems.

🌟 Fully automatic modifier KX

The existing capability for therapists to manually indicate therapy threshold exception will now self-determine when it’s time to document the KX modifier, setting it automatically in documentation while continuing to keep therapists informed:

Improved charting for clinicians

A new version of the therapyBOSS apps for clinicians further optimizes note documentation. You can read their release notes here.
