Patient address auto completion

You’ll notice when entering patient’s address, that it opens suggestions to select from as you type in the street:

This new feature accomplishes two objectives. First, it makes it easier and quicker to enter address information in your referrals. Second, it ensures address accuracy which in turn helps therapyBOSS obtain precise GPS coordinates in support of visit verification.

Your browser may prompt you to allow therapyBOSS to see your location. Please do as this will enable more relevant address suggestions.

Revamped experience of managing payers

We’re streamlining how you manage your payers and clearinghouse connections. You’ll discover a much-improved visual when navigating to Settings > Payers:

Dedicated clearinghouse section is there for easily recognized access to clearinghouses and the ability to edit their information. Payers follow with greatly enhanced capability to filter them as may be needed. It also offers a function to instantly export your payers' information to Excel.

Adding new payers simplified

We believe you’ll love what our team has done to simplify adding new payers. You’ll have just a few fields to satisfy, all displayed within the same straightforward dialog:

Billing identification separated from company settings

Settings now offers a designated “Billing identification” option for maintaining attributes required in insurance billing scenarios:

Moving billing-related attributes from under Company had the nice side effect of making that page less involved. The layout of company settings was further cleaned up for better organized presentation.

Faster adding of office users

You’ll no longer need to type in username or password for new users:

therapyBOSS will generate temporary username and password automatically, communicating them in the email notification to your new user.

Export of user privileges

We’ve expanded export in Settings > Users to include another choice in order to extract assigned privileges:

This will aid clients who want to audit their staff permissions in therapyBOSS.

Automatic discharge of inactive referrals

Our team is building an architecture for workflow automations which is a major direction in the future of therapyBOSS. Workflow automations will help eliminate manual effort across a range of tasks. This release includes automatic discharge of referrals for expired episodes without any activity whatsoever in the last 60 days. It’ll have a positive effect for your clinicians given that we often hear from them about how old referrals that weren’t discharged for one reason or another are clogging up their patient list.

Setup wizard improved

Seasoned users of therapyBOSS likely won’t care but we feel it’s worth mentioning the improvements made to the setup wizard. Specifically, it splits what used to be a single screen to configure your business profile, referral source types, settings and services into four smaller steps. The outcome is a much easier time establishing these essential aspects of your business in therapyBOSS. Give it a try by pressing on Setup wizard inside Settings.
